Defender Coin Door Ground

Is the Defender Coin Door Ground supposed to be tied into the Memory Protect Interlock Ground at the coin door Cherry Switch ???

the coin door switch, the test panel, coin door switches, and coin door lockouts all share the same ground

I always assumed the coin door ground wire was black-orange but according to the drawing set manual it's black-red lol

coin door ground is on the power supply plug with the GI lamp (yellow/yellow-white) and +27V coin door lockout (red) wires

the coin door memory protect switch is red-orange
 
So its correct to be tied in at the Cherry switch at the coin door.
yes I didn't really understand what you were asking so I just covered all the wires. if you're using a switching power supply the black-red coin door ground should be connected with the black wire ground or else nothing on the coin door will work.
 
Both wires are tied together at the Coin Door Cherry switch. Black-Red and Black.(one side of the Cherry Switch)
The other side of the Cherry Switch(memory protect interlock) is Red-Orange.
