Does anyone know of another tutorial for converting 4116 ram to 41256,went to do the mod at this site http://www.scoresaves.com/cgi-sys/suspendedpage.cgi and it comes up with account suspended,

Or better still has anyone got a copy of the two pics that were on this page as that is all i need to do the mod damn wish i had of had the foresight to save the pics instead of bookmarking the page.

just buy the inexpensive adapter plug from a place like bob roberts and make your life easy and be done with it.

modifying the chips is a tedious waste when it is easier to just swap a simple plug.

Here's the best image I could find from Google's cache of the non-adapter version of the 41256 mod.

I was on his site 2 days ago looking at it so it must have just went down.

Sorry, just a little webhost misunderstanding.... My site is back up now.
Here's the page you're looking for:

Thanks mate that is awesome news,This would have to be the best defender mod out there, great work Btw..and thanks for sharing it.

Note that the page shows a Robotron-style board, which is what most Williams boards are like. Defender is a slightly different animal though.... I haven't taken pictures of the mod done on a Defender board. The concept is the same though, so most people can figure it out.
