I have a friend that is kicking around having me restore his dedicated mappy. His cabinet is really clean, and wouldn't take much to repair. If the interest is there for reproductions, i'll knock his apart and make him a new cabinet at cost to aquire the cabinet plans. I only want to do this if some genuine interest is there, because the original cabinet will be destroyed in the process. Price will be in the 350 - 400 range for reproductions, and be color matched to melamine and ply, so no painting will be needed on this one.

Not sure.. mappy art and overlay are available for sure.

nope.. i did some searching, and jr pac art is not available. i did send a PM to the one guy who would have NOS art if anyone does, waiting to see if it's available for me to scan.

I am currently working on the CPO and marquee if you're interested. The kickplate art is on vectorlib, and you can contact Jeff Rothe at rotheblog.com if you want the sideart, he has made a vector.

I think that the 1/2" marquee box T-molding is HTF as are the Marquee stand brackets.
Then you'll have a really hard time with the Marquee (currently out of stock.) No one has reproed the glass Bezel so far. That being said, I love my Mappy, it's look, design and gameplay.

I hope theres enough interest for this one to make your list.
at the minimum I hope you repro the marquee box because I think it's very common for this to get bashed up somehow. I really don't know why since you can fold it down to move so easily.

None of the dedicated Jrpac art has been reproduced. Jeff rothe and rich started working on it but to date no art has been printed as far as I know.
I have yet to find a source for the orange 1/2" T molding for the marquee box. If it exists out there somewhere someone please post a link.
FYI Mappy had a plexi marquee and JrPac used a glass one. Its possible some mappys may have had glass too but I haven't seen any.

.

Part number 105-667 is 1/2 inch

I know they don't list orange, but they do say "We can supply other color -Minimums apply -please inquire"

I don't know what there minimum is though, maybe it is 10,000 feet or something ridiculous like that....

repro cabs and art would be awesome! my mappy is good enough, but the jr needs upgrading.
any chance someone could make these in tx? :)

heh if i make them, i bet the guy in TX can too :D checking on the art too

Last I read, Jeff did not want to release the art files without being compensated. Not sure if that has changed. I guess we will find out when you do. :D

I sent him an email to buy some of the art files from hima week ago and I have not gotten a response.

Here is what I know and my contribution....way back before coinopspace I was contacted by Jeff Rothe and he was really into wanting a Jr. Pac dedicated cab..as luck would have it way back then I had three pretty nice dedicated Jr. Pac cabs..now they are even harder to find since they are mostly in collectors hands and don't come up for sale very often....I ended up selling Jeff one of my cabs but before that he worked extensively on the Jr Pac art.

I sent Jeff many high quality photographs and some color samples while he was really into doing vector traces of the art...as far as I know he worked extensively on the Jr. sideart, and marquee...maybe some on the kickplate and cpo..but not sure on the later two...His intention was to have this reproduced at some point but he did all the work so its up to him what he wants to do with it...

The only set of original NOS art was in the hands of Darin at phoenixarcade but that sold to someone who apparently wants to remain anonymous unless they come out about purchasing the art...everyone knows I'm a huge pac fan so I'm not going to in to how I got outbid on this art but lets just say this collector has big pockets and made Darin offer I wouldn't refuse either...

So here we are...Brett can reproduce the cab...there is some of the art having already been vectored with the rest available..its jut going to take someone bringing everyone on the same page to get it done....

I had a dream of doing this art but to be honest the length that Agent X has taken has soured me on the whole deal...I want to finish that oddessy and just focus on small single piece projects in future if I do any...Agent X has enough stuff with many people coming together to get it done..it will take a similar effort to do Jr. Pac

I'm in for a cabinet or two to help support the project if it ever gets off the ground...I wish you luck..these projects are not cheap and often take a lot longer than you expect...

I am still on the fence about doing 1/2" orange. My source can do 1000 feet but will need to pay for color matching. If they have the correct molds for 1/2" and 3/4" I'd do both to offset the costs if color matching. How much 1/2" molding does the nappy marquee topper take? Also, does Jr. PAC use the same molding color?

I will do it and rich at this old game is willing to split the run if I want.

Jr. PAC dedicateds are Mappys so it should be the same. Jeff has completed the kick plate, but that's available on vectorlib. He did the CPO, too. I know someone with a NOS CPO.

Bill same color just different sizes..I can measure out the molding for the marquee box and let you know..its only a couple feet to complete both sides on marquee box.....and as stated the mappy and jr pacs are same exact cab in fact on all the jr pacs I've seen you can still see the mappy sideart underneath..they didn't both to remove it..they just used what mappy cabs were left to make Jr. pac...if you look close on the cab you can see the original mappy number stamped on back and then a new one for the jr. pac...there were some that don't have this and were likely cabs that didn't have the mappy art installed yet..but those are pretty limited from my experience ...I've seen about 15 dedicated jr. pacs so that is pretty good representation since they only did a few hundred.
