I was thinking...similar to a registry like computer space fan, I wanted to track how many Dedicated Major Havocs still remain.

There were a total of 300 dedicated cabs produced, certainly klov owners have a small portion of that. VAPS is craps and is too hard to sift through repros and people calling conversions or "dedicated".

Post your serial #s even if the cab is empty along with any good pics or info you have. Do you have the OG PCB? Matching parts, Amp, etc? I will try to pool it into a site.

Unfortunately, my Havoc is missing the OG PCB, but maybe someday I can track it down. It might also be a good thread to get most of our games synced up with the right parts #'s (doubtful).

I have Serial # 252. Conversion PCB with proper crystals and someone changed the original AMP Deflection board with a Star Wars Deflection blue board. But at least it is still an AMP.

Great idea. I've been thinking about this recently, wishing we had a better registry system for a lot of games (beyond VAPS). Once upon a time, there was a Dragon's Lair Registry on the DLP site, which was pretty neat. It eventually disappeared, and I never found out why, but it was really interesting to see all of the info on one page, for all surviving and restored cabs.

There are so few MH's out there, I bet if everyone posts the serials for what they have, we'll have at least one case where someone might be able to find where their original boardset went.

(Also, consider this post a placeholder for any dedicated parts I have or come across.)

I like how you put yours next to a Christmas tree. Sort of symbolic for the rest of us schlubs who don't have one...or even a Frankenstein one.

I own UR00172. It was converted to Solar Warrior when I got it, and in very rough (falling apart) shape.

The cabinet has been rebuilt with new repro art & original metal pieces powdercoated. I collected most of the parts I needed over a period of years, just waiting on a repro harness now. Have an Amp for it, conversion board (need to swap crystals), repro roller controller.

I'll have to dig up the photos of before, and take some of the after. It was incredibly rough.

maybe you should make a provision for those that did a scratch build. some have used original boards while others have gone repo pcb. I am sure there might be a few dedicated out there running with wells in there.

Here is my Repro dedicated.. NOS amp Tube, original Tollian Web PCB, also put together very close to original because i had an original next to it so i could build it the same. :)

I have a Tollian Web PCB serial number 205 on my shelf, along with a NOS Amp tube and all the other parts. Just waiting on a repro cabinet.

I have the pcb from a dedicated Major Havoc.

Tollian Web s/n UR00108

I used to have aspirations to build a repro dedicated MH, started accumulating parts, and then decided that my MH Space Duel conversion is good enough for me. Sold off all the parts except for this board.

When I find time, I'll be putting this board up for sale.

Real nice. I also would trade my current board and maybe some cash for a matching mate to my machine.

I have an original dedicated machine, but somewhere along the way the serial tags were removed. What would you all say is the likely best way if there is any to determine what number mine is? I have a few boards, but I'd have to check numbers.

Bring it down here and I'll investigate and get back to you... eventually.

Nothing on the tube, ARII, deflection, HV or brick?

Yup. Top spots:

Deflection - mine was from a star wars so no good to check.

Power brick. - this is where i found mine.

Back of machine.

Coin box/service switch area.

HV

Sometimes the harness

PCB

Manual pack or documentation.

Also its should be 300 and below. Anything higher is most likely from another game. Unless Atari got bored.
