Yesterday my dedicated GNG cabinet arrived. It is in overall pretty good condition. It appears that a cheap paint job protect the original blue finish. The Mtc 900 is getting a cap kit, on power up a cap failed. I have done a quick general cleanup. The coin door will need some repairs and the left front bottom corner has some swelling. I have 2 original control panels both of which have been hacked, so I will be using them to copy any bend a new one. I have already located a NOS marquee fro Joey and a cpo from TOG. Still hoping to find a NOS bezel but things are looking bleak. The only source I can currently find producing the is szabos, has anyone used his bezel? TOG has had them in the past but not currently listed.

I am curious as to opinions on how to fix swelling. Has anyone had any luck repairing a swelled corner and preserving original art or finish?
Does anyone here happen to have a paint code for touch ups?

Also I discovered after laying the cabinet down that it is not swollen it's split. It appears that it hasn't had legs on it for some time now. When I removed the t Molding the slot was split pretty badly. I worked glue down into split and then clamped.

While I was waiting for the glue to dry I dug out one of my spare pcbs. Cleaned it up and tested it. Ready to go.

Clamps off. It all pulled back in really nice and straight. Moved up to the marquee and bezel areas now. These aren't really laying open but they have a small crack showing behind the slot.

Paint is removed. There are a couple of chipped corners pretty minimal And some very light scratches not through the color. I might try to polish them out. I believe I will leave them. I need to smooth and repaint the black and I think I will make a new bottom and lower back as they are a little swollen.
