I picked up a 2 for 1 deal - $100 for two cabinets.
The Sly Spy is working 100% with only a little curl at the top of the monitor, however it's in a converted MACH 3 cabinet that's got no side art. The CP looks like a MAME frankenpanel with 3 joysticks and like 10 buttons. At least there was an attempt to put on a Sly Spy CP overlay. Too bad it's got a million holes in it. The Sly Spy marquee is in good shape.
So, should I go through the trouble of a new CP overlay and sideart and keep it in a MACH 3 cabinet, or just gut it?
The Boot Camp was not working when I got it. I opened it up and saw the back door safety switch cutoff had been taped "closed" and was coming loose. So I taped it quickly and the game fired up. Bingo!
It's in decent shape with some damage to the bottom of the cabinet, no marquee or light, but the sideart and CP are all there. Should I restore this? I have the manual for it too.
No pics yet, I'll follow with those. Just wondering what others would do.
I don't know that either of these games is a must have - for me anyway. Still, for $100 two working JAMMA games isn't bad.
