anybody ever hear of "hero in the castle of doom"?
http://www.klov.com/game_detail.php?game_id=8106

I have a chance to get one super cheap... its in a ninty cab(blue) and its supposedly a donkey kong board hack...

i have a chance to get it cheap and im wondering what it would take to convert the board back to regular donkey kong.. Lmk guys.. would ne nice to finally join the ninty club!

Probably not many of those around. If the hack is cool in the slightest bit, I wouldn't de-convert the board. Just pickup a DK board separately and you can swap it into the cabinet on occasion.

I have the PCB, Marquee, and a set of NOS Roms for Hero in the Castle of Doom. I like it. Please post pics if you get it.

yeah, seems to be a good resto candidate to me too unless gameplay really grabs my nads...

i have to wait to hear back form the dude as to wether i get it...

i didnt offer much beeng it has "issues" and who knows how good or bad the cabinet reallty is...

hopefully i snag it before i leave for vegas next week...

I think it would be definitely worth it to re-convert the game back into DK, but I would also save the "Hero in the Castle of Doom" kit.
