Deco Multigame w/Ice Cream & More

Are there any new games or updates for this?

Jon

No. If anyone knows of any tapes for sale that are not in MAME you should drop them a line.
Mamedev has a copy of Angler Dangler that they will eventually dump if it's not gone bad.

Jon, that is about one of the greatest things I have ever seen. Holy crap does that rock. Totally jealous. DO WANT.

Is the multi-deco literally on a tape? Like a casette tape? 8 track? Is the mod a new tape with all the roms on it?

I'm almost sorry I sold my kit now! That looks great Jon and I like that style of cab much better.

I have a game called Ocean to Ocean for mine. Don't know if it works or not since I haven't tried to fix my system yet. Does anyone know of this game?

How true does Boulderdash play to the Atari computer version?

When I fix my exidy max-flex system I can compare them...

Some asked about the tapes, they look like mini cassettes. Each games also has a security dongle.

I know Al K gathered up a bunch of games like 15 years ago and I think dumped the data. I gave him a test cart and I think disco #1. Back then I had a deco and like 11 different games. I think there is a list of games the mame team has. I think there were like 25 total.

The Atari computer version/5200 version is way better than the deco version. For some reason the deco version looks more primitive, almost like an apple // version :)

Thanks for the info. I actually played it 'back in the day' on the C64, which was pretty good for the time. Been meaning to get it running on an Atari emulator, but haven't gotten around to it. That's a great game.

Actually Boulderdash is an awesome game. One of my favorites. I played it both on the Apple //e & C64. I owned Boulder Dash I & II, Super Boulder Dash and Boulderdash Construction Set.

recently I even bought a colecovision version.
You can see my video here:

And also Rockford for the Amiga.

Super cool John! I was just checking out an ad in an December 1982 Playmeter mag showcasing the Data East cassette system.

Of course, they were touting it as the next great thing to make $ for operators again. Funny how in late 82' there was much forecast of doom and gloom already.

I had no idea there were that many versions of Boulderdash made.. very cool. Neat to hear there are other fans of the game.
