Alright boys, I'm putting on my flame retardant suit as we speak so flame away but I need some advice on what to do.

I have a choice between the following 2 favourite cabs of mine of all time and I am having a tough time deciding which one to take.

-Dedicated Chase HQ or Dedicated MK

Both need a bit of work, especially the MK that is missing a chunk of lumber near the bottom. Looks like someone took an axe and chopped off a piece. The Chase is a bit worn out but nothing a good scrubbing and new tmoulding couldnt help.

So what do you guys think? ( I only have room for one. My other is a Z 3-Koam SFII CE cab)

I am leaning more towards the Chase as well in a way because another of my favourite Taito racers is Continental Circuit so I figured I could always buy the board and throw it in the Chase HQ. Not the real deal but at least it has a wheel and shifter.

I would go with the Chase HQ for sure. Fighting games never really appealed to me. Plus, I think Chase HQ would be more popular if you ever had guests over (It is a much easier game to "pick up and play").

Plus you can buy that Continental Circuit board you could swap in. And, from your description, it seems like it would be easier to fix up than the Mortal Kombat.

I'm not much of a fan personally of ether game type. With that being said. I'd have to say, Chase H. Q.

Chase H. Q. has the speed, simplicity factor, steering wheel and game art. Thats my opinion, don't make it your own. :)

Wow! Lots of votes for Chase HQ. I appreciate it guys :)

I showed my GF who doesnt care for cabs (which girl does right?) both cabs and she says: You are not putting that horrific looking cab (MK) in your room are you? lol She also likes the Chase HQ.

personally I don't care for either but based on your description I'd take the chase only because MK's are relatively common and you can find one in better condition.

Mortal Kombat wins...fatality.

I had a Miami Vice once, umm, er, I mean Chase HQ. Its a good game, but very easy, and only has 5 levels. It literally takes less than 15 minutes to beat, and then you can only replay it so many times before you get bored with it, at least thats my experience. You seem to be more of a fighter kind of guy, so my vote is for MK.

I hear what you're saying. As I mentioned before, I think the main reason to getting the Chase HQ is the fact that I can purchase the Continental Circuit board and play it on the Chase cab. At least I can alternate boards to it doesnt become boring quickly. I dont know. If I had room for the 2 it would be fantastic. Maybe I should sell my office desk and make room ;)

Chase HQ. As much as I enjoy MK, you can toss that in your SF2 cab. You can't play Chase HQ in your SF2 cab. Besides you already have a fighting game. It's good to have a little variety. A nicer MK should eventually come along.

I got to go with Chase as well, driving games are always fun and have a great replay factor for guests...MK can wait
