Did somebody say custom bubble top... The left ours, the right, let's just call it the old blue...

I was just on your site checking out the LED pushbuttons last night. Can you let me know how they are wired for power, I'm assuming that the LED joystick would be powered the same way.

The LED joysticks and button can grab power from the coin door lights. You should have a ground and a positive going to the coin door, at 12 volts. If you just tap into the two wires going there and draw that up to the leads shown here:

You will get LIGHT!

Now one issue here... if you have a Ms. Pac or older machine that uses AC power it's best to upgrade the LED lights to AC lights which we can do also. AC current will cause LED's to blink at 30 times a minute, technically faster than we can see, but, it's not the best way to set them up. We have some LED's with a rectifying circuit built in so that they will work on AC or DC current.

How does the future look for the Taito multi? Getting any soon? I'd only be looking for the 10 game....

....and bump for a good seller.

PM returned on the 150 in 1...

Rollie's....November? I had the prototypes in hand, there were some issues with the mold. I am hoping asap, I really want to start moving these. I think that we will have them in Jan.

RGB LED's for IL buttons...hmmm...Did you mean the transclucent IL buttons, the regular Competition IL buttons with a super bright LED and a single drill hole mod, or were you thinking RGB for our traditional LED buttons....
I would have to say.... 12/21 :)
Oh and the new RGBs, have the leads already soldered on :)

We decided to open a big can of LED WOOP ass, marquee's and more on the way. If you have requests, please let us know!

What else is new? Well with all this talk about the 5000 in 1 on the XXXX in 1 horizon, we have decided to offer a $10 dollar upgrade to a 120 GB hard drive that should be big enough for all the new xxxx images people are developing.

Finally, I was told that the Multi-Taitos are back on the table in Jan... I am making a list, please email bryan@paradisearcadeshop. This is just an interest list. 1 week before I am told I will receive the boards I will start at the top of the list and work my way down asking for paypal payment. (first 10 payments from the first round that fell through are first on the list). I have more than 10 and less than 50 coming in, I'm just not sure of the exact number.

How much are the multi Taito boards? How many games are on the board?

235 it what they were at before, I need to see what my cost is.

Sorry for the delayed responses guys, we moved last week, our house and the stock, our 1.5 bedroom was a little small for Tyler, Susan, and I with our dog Abbi. Then on the 24th, I came down with one of the worst cases of strep I've ever had, after 3 days in bed, I'm back up and moving, Susan has the new stock room set up, and Tyler...well he's helping in his own way.

Happy holidays, we are adding some new products to the store in the next week. Thank you for all the support!

IL Lumination Clarifacation?

Hi Bryan, hope you're feeling better. I am a bit confused as to whats available for il lumination kits. Can I order rgb led's for the iL transluscents via the web store? I dont see an option for the rgb version when ordering. I saw your response re: rotating the chips 180 degrees to make them work with the LED-wiz, but I don't understand the impact of doing this, in the long run. Can you clarify? Thanks!

re: rotating the chips 180 degrees to make them work with the LED-wiz, but I don't understand the impact of doing this, in the long run. Can you clarify? Thanks!

The first run had the R, G, and B leads powered. The led wiz controls grounds. The next (and rest) will have the R, G, and B leads as grounded. (The way I understood it)

19-1 Robo gameplay

Anyone have any experience with the 19-1 board? My Robo is flaky and I'm looking for an alternative to still use the original cabinet and controls but have a more reliable board inside so it is rock solid. I'm asking because I of course want the game play to be just like the original board set. So how does this one compare to the original?

Thanks!
Brian

Compared to yesterday I feel like a million dollars!

Let me start with the bad first, as for a robotron replacement board, I personally would do:
1) Jrok (truest original feel for Robotron)
2) Arcadeshop (incredible emulation of Robotron)
3) 19 in 1 (the least accurate, and some of the better players do not like this version)

Most people who buy the 19 in 1, do so because it has Super Mario and Ghosts and Goblins, at least those are the two games that get sited when I suggest orther routes.

Now let's address these LED questions, it was true up until a few days ago that you had to flip the led's on the boards, but the new ones are in! LED controller compatible, 3 ground lead RGB LEDs for IL buttons....with 8" leads already soldered on! I will open up the store, but we don't have any pictures except this bad phone pic here yet. See here:

Want to see them in action? :)

But what fun would it have been to just do IL RGB LED pads? I mean sure these work great in a trackball(as shown in the video) but what about our original LED buttons? Do they become the red headed step child? HELL NO, we had these done too! You can pull the regular contacts out of the lamp holder and these press right in with the wires coming out above where the micro goes (pictures to follow)

Oh.... we also got our first batch of color changing AC pinball bulbs, and they are working great in Twilight Zone. This Jan we will add LED marquee lights in bright white (fluorescent replacement) and warm white (Nintendo/ incandescent replacement). We also will have stock of the AC color changers and non-flicker gi pinball lighting.

Also coming up, short and long hollow shafts for Zippyy's and Seimitsu sticks(these arrive today)
