so get a line on some games, go out an meet this guy and check out his games.
as hes showing me these games that are buried in his basement he keeps telling me about this game that was banned in Wi and it was his favorite.
was like yeah you would drive a car around an run over people and tombstones would pop up.
so im thinking F YES let me see this.
then he says it was right by the entrance to the basement. thinking to myself i would have seen this game if i walked by it.

well have a look at why i didnt see it......

so as of now i grabbed the control panel, monitor shroud, all art bezels even though theyre toast and cash box.
sadly the pcb and peddles were still frozen to the ground

Sweet survivor!!!!!

There is still a lot usable parts there that CP hardware could be salvaged there might even be a pcb or wire harness in that mess so not a total loss.

Good freaking heavens - what in the hell happened to that thing?

I played one BITD, and it was okay. Nothing I'd drop more than a few quarters in.

Still, it's sad to see one that far gone. Who would ever think that was okay?

Did you let him know he let about $4K rot away?

I have never understood why people leave games outside under tarps and what not. Their made of plywood and pressed wood how long do people actually think the things will last. I love watching games go up for sale and the guy wants $$$ for it and you can see the thing outside under a tarp lol.

apparently the leg levelers failed to keep it above the water line

i could so use the monitor bezel and yoke .... just sayin'

yea that's to bad. unfortunately there was at least a 10 year gap where these machines were worthless to many who knew about them.
thanks

wanted death race steering opto boards these are needed to fix a death race at my favorite arcade please lmk what you are going to do with them thanks

OP should go back and scoop any parts.

-shifters
-steering wheels
-gas pedals
-pedal springs
-coin plate and mech
-marquee
-bezel
-monitor

I could go on. The wood rotted however some of those parts are useable for many of us collectors.

Please update us on what gets done with this.
