I found a Death Race on location in San Francisco at a waterfront arcade called The Musee Mechanique. http://www.museemechanique.org/ Death Race had horrible game play (and I usually love the B/W games) but the theme was cool.
Other games they had on location included an arcade sized Rock'em Sock'em where the winner gets to continue playing until beaten, a cool hockey game where you only play the goalie, an EM Arm Wrestling machine that is strong enough to warrant a severe warning, and assorted other strength testers.
I also visited the Scandia Family Fun Center which had a few classics (all in conversion cabs but they did have a .vs Super Mario Bros, Altered Beast, and a 48-in-1) as well as many modern games and pins. The only redemption machine of note was a Sea Wolf machine.

Both places were great to visit. Virtually all games at the Musee operated on quarters and Scandia used a card but games seemed to cost approximately 10 to 50 cents.
