Death Race Before / Close to after

Ok so my Death Race is nearing completion...

When I got it (from Virginia) it was a wreck... the bottom had fallen out and the sides were rotted. Thankfully most of the parts had been saved and I was able to reconstruct the cabinet.

I still need to install the coin Door slot (need to have re-chromed yet)
Have board glitches fixed
Install new repro Control Panel Overlay (repro process has been started)

That's gonna be a real beauty. I really want a working Deathrace someday. I played the one at Musee' Mechanique and I fell in love with the game.

Wow! Nothing thrills me more than seeing a classic that most people would have considered not repairable brought back from the grave! Awesome job!

Oh and prOk, I liked your old avatar, but I LOVE the new one! :D :D
 
Nice job.. What number Death race was the original cab? Did you stamp it into the repro?
