I was really sad to see Heavy Metal Meltdown on the blink. I would have been devastated had I not played it a little on Friday night. Hopefully, you'll get it back running. I do appreciate your efforts in bringing it, and perhaps next year, it will cooperate with us.

I'm so sorry about Heavy Metal Letdown. It was working Friday night but had a Meltdown Saturday morning. The CPU is completely dead even though all the test voltages are good. Not worried about fixing it but I was really looking forward to everyone playing it at the show. It'll be there next year for sure.

Had a great time this year. Sorry I didn't meet you M1A. Wanted to talk to Phet and Chris longer and meet others.

I dropped off HMM after CAX and have been on vacation since. I just set it up, turned it on and the damn thing works 100% like it did before the show. I turned it on and off a few time, jiggled wires and it fired up every time. I wasn't getting any CPU led flashes Sat. or Sun. at the show. Wtf? Years ago I was having weird problems with my Journey at CAX that I think were power issues at the show as I haven't had problems since. I checked the +12v and +5v on my HMM CPU at the show and they were close.

It's been on most of the day and still running. Is there such thing as it not getting clean power at the show? Do I need to bring a line conditioner to the show next year :D

Odd how my NBA Fastbreak pin, which was parked next to yours, on the same 2 poles of the power run also had issue. I had a flipper coil act up (probably environmental) and a sort of choppy sound issue when played loud that I had never heard before.

Makes you wonder...

Jkoolpe had I-Robot issues that went away when he turned it on at home.

The HMM on CL sold this morning, and not to me by the way. I spoke with the seller and he said he only had room for two pins and was headed out to Arizona to pick up a Fireball, so HMM had to go. It had some wear on the playfield down to the wood near the left sling, and some more by the pop bumpers. He said he replaced all the plastics and the ramps to nicer ones than were on the machine than when he got it. Looked like a solid machine for $600.

There was also a HMM for sale on CL in Arizona several months ago for $1K, it may still be around, I'm not sure.
