Hey all,

Trying to fix our Deal or No Deal game. It was having issues loading the game. I replaced the hard drive and restored the software. It still did not work. so, I am trying to use an old Super Bikes MoBo. When I power up the game it tells me to connect the I/O board. It is connected. The superbikes motherboard had the same serial connectors (onboard) as deal or no deal. I switched the processor with the deal or no deal. I just cannot figure out why it still thinks it's not connected.

Thanks,

Chris

The original MoBo got to the point where it would power on (fans dongle blinking), but get no response from the keyboard and no video

Everything enabled in BIOS? Honestly though, computers swaps typically work for me, but they always fight you in one way or another.

Dumb question, but did you do new thermal paste on the old heatsink/processor with the old motherboard? Unless it has bad caps or something these things usually end up as a thermal shutdown.

What version restore software are you using ?

I think I actually had that once. I remember now, I'm in dress clothes for a wedding, and I wound up gimmicking my own 80 mm fan on it. :D

that game 5 years later as far as I can tell is still out on location somewhere.

were the I/O boards powered by the PC or by a separate power supply on these? I can't remember now.
