so I just got a Turtles in Time board today from a klov member and it's dead. all I get is a grey flashing screen.

reseated all the chips, and nothing. only visible damage on the board is at location C11 marked "4.7M16T" not sure what type of capacitor this is. It's a tiny little blue one. I think these are for sound? I'm not sure if this could cause the board not to work.

what do you guys think?

What's a "Time board", and why are there dead turtles in it??? ;)

Heh, but anyway, I REALLY doubt that cap is causing your problems, and you could probably repair that just by putting a small glob of solder on the leg of the cap and board (or desolder the broken leg and shove the stub left on the cap in the hole and solder it). You could at least hold it there so it's touching to rule out that being your problem... though it's almost certainly not your problem.

Have you looked over the board very carefully with a magnifying glass, looking for broken traces and stuff? I've found a lot of boards get thrown in piles, and lots of traces get gouged and cut along the way.

thanks for the suggestions, I will look it over carefully and replace that cap anyway. worse case it's gonna get shipped out to channelmanic for repair.

was hoping it was just that cap though, been dying to play Turtles in Time lol
