Dead Space 2

It's OK so far. Typical "lets make it dark so people think its scary but it isn't really scary so let's have stuff pop out of vents at the last second" type game. It's half decent. The hacking mini games are a bit annoying and take you out of the action.

I think I'm maybe 70% through it where I am, maybe more and so far it hasn't been plagued with those annoying "Astroids" ship-protection missions.

I really enjoyed the original Dead Space. Haven't played the sequel yet... but I plan to.

Just finished it a while ago. It was ok. Better and less retarded than the first game. The first game had you do all this crazy stuff to get the automated ship guns to work and then you have to take manual control? Makes the previous 2 hours of work pointless.

Anyway in Dead Space 2 The last fight has a tendency to just 'decide you're dead' every once in a while. I died twice. Doesn't make any sense. The guy gets grabbed or shot for no apparent reason. The after credits part was predictable, of course.

And I guess they brought back the regenerating guy from DS1. I never saw him in the first game because I never beat it (hated the asteroids part and just traded it in), but he's sorta just tossed in there as an afterthought. Its like 'hey remember me, yeah im gonna chase you for a little bit.'

Meh. I've played better games. But I've also played worse.

Playing it now. I am on chapter 10 of 12 I believe. If you liked the first Dead Space, you will like this. Isaac has much character in this game and takes his helmut off often. I am pleased and I can't seem to put it down. I keep saying I will just play until the next save point and then keep playing anyway.

I played the Ipad one for a couple hours that night...took a little getting used to but its pretty good! Only problem I see is with the Ipad, attacking is sort of a pain. I may pick up the PC version to check it out.
