So I read quite a few post here in the 20EZ..this will be my first attempt to resurrect one

It's complete dead...the obvious was checked...100V in and the fused are good.

I'm not sure I've had a cap kit bring back a dead monitor...I did read that there's a couple caps located in the front of the main power route that if are bad..could cause a 'no picture'

I got no neck glow and the speaker hummms quite loud

I tested the existing stuff (PS and boards) in another machine and they were fine.

I have the flow chart and the manual

edit: Video after Cap kit..it's sideways but you'll get the idea

I did not change the filter cap at c606...i'll order one Monday morning

This thread here http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=155371&highlight=20ez&page=2 is pretty close to my problem yet I know it's no the board as it works fine with another monitor

Just check all the cap locations and polarity and all is fine

So..it's back..Kind of.

The audio is fine..no hum..

The monitor did come up after the cap kit but the left side is 'sagging'...the longer it's on the worse it get till eventually the whole screen kinda of wobbles all over the place.

I'll post a video in a bit...

my donkey kong looked like that b4 the cap kit. there are two levels of cap kits for these monitors. did you get the kit that replaces all the caps?
