pinside says that this pin has 3 ball multi ball.
i saw a youtube vid where it looked like 5 ball multi ball. what is the correct answer?

From the manual under Multi-Ball play:

"Royal Rumble (multi-ball) play begins with 3-balls. If a player can play multi-ball successfully for 15 seconds (without holding the ball on the flipper), another ball will enter the playfield. This will continue up to 6 balls."

I have a WWF RR, but it is in the process of being repaired and shopped, so it wouldn't be easy for me to test this.

this is correct. The machine uses 6 balls total. I own a 100% working machine.

well then lindsey ill continue off topic,

i am picking up a working wwf rr, along with a spare populated pf,boards,trans,shaker.....basically all but a board and cab, but its farrrrrr away

What's your plan for the spare parts, dc2010? Are you going to try and find a cab and board to make a second machine?

I was thinking about trying to find one in the Seattle area and going to the NW pinball show this year but not only does it seem unlikely that I'll find that specific game at that time but it's also quite likely that I'll find something else that I want more.

Would be interested in buying the ramps off the extra pf if you might be selling them. Might even be interested in the whole pf send me a message if you are interested. Thanks Mike

derail away gentleman, strangbat answered my ? thank you.
im looking at a wwf. not that hot on the theme. looks like a fun game. and the one im lookin at is near mint.

im gonna derail even more and ask how this game is. I dunno that I have a desire to own it, but I do have a desire to try it to the point of buying one if the chance came around.

We've derailed this post, but I need a couple parts too.

well , i need to pick them up first, but assuming i do not need those parts, and it will help preserve your games id probably sell parts,

what parts do you need?

stangbat, i myself am in NEED of star wars r2d2 if you have one or know where there is one for sale, please let me know

Sorry dc2010, the only R2D2 I've seen lately is on eBay for $250 for just the body! There has to be a cheaper one out there somewhere.

As for WWF, I need the flat metal exit piece from the upper playfield that hooks into the habitrail. I may need a sound board if I can't get mine fixed. Hopefully I'll get mine going, parts should be here this week. Fingers crossed. I think that's it unless I find something else missing when I start putting it back together.

i saw that one too, i laughed

im not sure which board is missing, but 1 is missing, ill let you all know after i pick them up

I'm going to derail a bit too...

how do you take off the upper playfield? One of my drop targets broke and I have to replace it...is it a pain?

I think the game is a lot of fun with decent depth. Gets a lot of play at my house when I have parties. I'm not sure if I'll keep it forever but its def a fun game.

You can get to the drop targets without removing the upper playfield.

There's only a couple of nuts that hold down the upper playfield, but you have to remove the flippers and two diverters, and of course the ramps/habitrails. It unplugs with one connector if I remember correctly. But you shouldn't have to endure all of that to replace a drop target.

Sorry for turning this into a WTB discussion.

I could really use the ramps if you are not going to use them. Let me know about the ramps and the condition of the extra playfield when you get a look at the pin. Was planning on just doing some touch ups to mine and putting down some mylar to protect it, but might be time for my first playfield swap. Mine is pretty beat up and I already did the mini. This was one of my "great" purchases off of ebay. Live and learn.

There is a person in Greece on ebay right now that looks like they are parting out a SW DE. Mostly platics, but I also saw a lockdown bar and an apron. You might contact them to see if they still have a R2. You never know? http://cgi.ebay.com/Pinball-Data-Ea...283?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3362f3ed63
