I'm looking at possibly picking up a Daytona USA Twin sit down. On one hand I was told the sperated width to be 36" so there is no way that's going through a normal door. On the other hand there are lots of threads of people actually getting these things in basements.

Broken down as slim as possible, anyone know what that number is? I think I have about 30" to work with before I have to start removing trim, and I'm not sure I'm willing to go that far.

Any other tips on moving this beast into a basement? (besides don't do it).

I certainly don't have 36" doors and my twin made it in.

It was quite the project...I took the monitors our of both games...and the seats with the boards set. Moved each game down in 3 pieces...then reassemble

I think I'm wrong about the 36" number, maybe he said 32". It looks to be 30 - 32, but anything 30+ is pretty wide when it comes to interior doors.
