According to the schematics the Driver bd controls the leader lamps and there is a relay somewhere between it and the lamps. Mine are not working. Seems it would be easy to find, I would have thought, but so far no luck.
Anyone know if it's located on the driver board (didn't see it),In coin box (didn't see it there either), in the bottom cabinet, or ?
Still searching...

I may have found the answer to my question. I had been looking for a mechanical relay, and believe it must be the solid state "relay bd" mounted in the bottom of the cabinet. Now for more troubleshooting to find out why it's not working.
I even setup the slave unit as master and vice versa to see if the lamps would change, but they didn't so not sure if I'm on the correct tract or if it's only controlled by the main unit regardless of master/slave settings, but I'll keep trying. If they end up to challenging to repair on this issue, I'll just let it go as maybe none of the friends will notice. Wiring on these cabs were pretty hacked up when I got 'em so not going to spend hours and hours trying to repair this minor issue.
If anyone can confirm though that I'm looking at the correct "relay" for the leader lamps, I would appreciate any it.
Thanks

sounds right....the part that went bad on ours was on a pretty small board with like two plugs going to it, and it sat between the sound board and the steering control board.

This is what the relay pcb looks like. Make sure to replace the "Leader" light bulbs in the marquee with the proper wattage bulbs, 25W 120V. Typically, that's why the relay's burn up. I'll try to find where I bought my replacement relay's, they were $15 a piece I think, it's a really easy fix, just de-solder and re-solder the new ones on. I recently picked up another set of twins and both of those relay's are blown as well. I haven't checked the bulbs in the marquee yet, but I'll bet they're the wrong wattage as well.

Appreciate it. I checked tonight and I am getting the 5 volts triggered to the board so the SSR must be the culprit. Both on my Twins are bad as well. I did notice the relay have optic isolators in them so those could be what's bad. Doesn't really matter I guess as they both need to be replaced. I'm heading to the parts supply tomorrow, so maybe I'll get lucky if they have them.
BTW, the previous owner had a 13w flourescent bulb in the socket so that may have caused it since they take a bit of power to get them started. Don't know for sure though.

Just to close this thread out, I was able to get a close replacement Solid State Relay. I say close as it was rated higher @ 4amps instead of 2. Parts house only had 1 in stock and it fixed one of the Daytona's, so now waiting to obtain the other one.
Thanks for the help.
