Hi guys,

I got a Daytona Twin unit that is setup to be a single player. There is a box on the side of it with a sound pot and buttons for setting etc.

The problem is the sound went out and I'm trying to figure out what board is having the issue.

During my troubleshooting, I accidentally pulled one of the wires for the pot or buttons out of the connector. Whoever owned this before jammed some pins into the connector that connects to a second unit to rig up the test buttons, pot etc. now, I can't figure out where these pins are supposed to go into the connector.

Does anyone have a diagram of the connector that connects two Daytona units together? See pics.

I got sound back. I swapped amps and got sound. Now I need to figure out how to get the test buttons going.

The wiring diagram is in the USA twin manual if you can find a good scan that doesn't omit it, but you don't even need the external test & service buttons - they're also found on the IO PCB, which is the smaller board at the rear of the main board cage. 2 of the 4 buttons on it are Test and Service. Just hit them until you're in test mode, then use the 4 viewpoint buttons and the start button on the CP to navigate the menus.

Dude. You are a legend! Thank you!

Your cab in Japan built. I don't know of any scans for this manual on line so you will not find prints that match it. Point to point all wiring goes in same pace but our Daytona Manuals we did put on line had really crappy wiring diagrams. Pretty simple to figure out wiring from pot to amp. Wire colors did not change thru harness.

I own 1 left side Daytona Twin and 3 right side Daytona Twins.

Two of my right sides do not have a cashbox to connect to.

In order to control audio and have a test button I figured out what pins need to go where for that to work.

In case any one or myself needs this in the future here is how the pins go for audio pot and test button.

*Coloring is for my audio pot only. Yours might be different. See the picture.

These 3 wire go to the audio pot
Red white wire
Green Black wire
Yellow red wire

These two wires go to the test button
Orange wire
White wire
