I just wanted to see what a fair price on a single Daytona USA deluxe should be.
The price checks I see in here are mostly twins or single uprights, and a year or more old, so I wanted to see what the 50 inchers are going for now-a-days.

Looking for prices as:
1) Complete working game (cockpit seat and monitor)
2) Working spare monitor by itself as I know it can be used in other games like Top Skater, Star Wars, Sega Rally, etc

Thanks

I guess that makes sense of not getting responses for price quote, but I'm not sure if I agree with "rare" or not or mine would have sold quick. I guess the reason for this post was getting many [are they actually?] low ball offers. As from looking into it in other places, I am being told/starting to believe a lot of people are looking for it as it's a popular game in itself, but nobody has room for a cockpit driver, greatly limiting the actual purchase potential. Of the top of my head I would guess $1200 would be more in line with a Special instead of a Deluxe, but of course I would love to get $1200 out of mine if there was a surge in interest.

If you took this to the Dallas auction you would be lucky to get $300.00 out of it. Since operators are not making a whole of money on these games anymore they are flooding the market with them and the necessary room needed for large sit down games really limits your potential buyers. I have 1400 wide open game room and I wouldn't want anything that large. Just eats up too much space and is too large to move a lot.

daytona

its the kind of game where if you had to sell it in 2 days, you might only get 200
but on the other hand if you found the right person with a 3000 ft game room, they might pay 3000 , I think when they were new they were over 20k
