I got a couple of questions about linking two of these together.

First, can I use any optic cables to connect these machines together?

And second, can I just connect the two boards together directly? All the manuals say to connect one through the coin box and other through the back, but the one machine is missing the back link connectors on the coin box and I can't find the connector on the back from the inside so that isn't possible.

I like to know the answers before I buy a second machine. Thanks.

I have a pair of Deluxe cabinets, so my layout may be different then yours.

I have standard audio Toslink cables. Monoprice has them cheapest at www.monoprice.com. You will need a pair of them to connect 2 cabinets.

You will also need to change the settings in the config so that one machine is master and one machine is a slave.

When connecting the cables, they need to be paired correctly to transmit and receive. If you have them backwards, the game will not initialize correctly.

On my games the toslink ports were damaged. As a result, I ran the cables directly between the main logo boards. I still need to go back and clean this up.

Thanks

Brian

Yeah I have one standard cab, looking for another but it seems to be the same when it comes to linking them together.

But I just wanna make sure, I can buy two long toslink cords and connect the two machine by the two ports on each of the main boards together and not deal with the connectors in the back at all.
