I've been shopping around for a Twin Daytona, and I've ran into a question. I've seen some with Red seat backs and others with Black. Was there a standard?....or is it set to a specific type of cab? (single, vs twin etc)

Best I can tell, the USA Twin had the dark gray backs, while the non-US Twins had red. Don't have any hard proof, but that's what I've noticed. Mine are dark gray (which is what I always remember from BITD).

Orange seatbacks are used on the Japanese-built twins.

They also have plastic side panels, no monitor glass, and are otherwise constructed entirely of metal.

Make sure the plastic is in good shape if you buy one of these. Ops I know in Asia actually made efforts to import the USA-built cabs as they found them to be more durable.
