OK, this was actually our first project together, and it was over a year ago. Dave and I talked on the phone tonight about this one, and we felt it was time to bring it out in the open. Prototype #1 Belongs to Seawolf, in Chicago. he has done most of the parts test fitting, this one is VERY close to being available to the community, so here's our first Reproduction Dedicated Major Havok cabinet!

Perfect work.

Is it just me or does your camera lens need a little cleaning? Pictures of both this and the Star Wars cockpit have a foggy look to them.
:)

If I ever get one of these, I'm converting it to a Tempest! :D

That looks killer!

Wow, that is beautiful. Looks like I may own a MH (in the proper shaped cab) someday. Thanks again for the awesome work.

There is a guy with a cnc machine here in town. Do you have the specs on that cabinet? maybe he would build me one. I live in Canada or would just order one of you guys, i am assuming shipping to the Great White North would be crazy?

Very nice job you have done there, it's looking awesome!

Ahh, at last, we finally spill the beans on this project. I've had plenty of people asking about this particular cabinet for so long, I finally decided to get Brett on-board. Afterall, he does great work!!

Notes:

Brett, obviously, will be making the cabinet based on my 3D model files which were created from measuring up an OEM cabinet which I've had in my possession for many years now. His work is superb.

I'll be handling all plastic and metal parts - controllers have been done and ready since 2006, so we're good there. Control Panels are almost finished (way overdue, too -- sorry about that Chad!!). Side pieces and brackets are almost completed, too. 2.25" wide t-molding has already been completed. Marquees screened onto 3/16" glass are almost completed.

MH sideart and CPO's are currently available from Phoenix Arcade. Please patron his store while we work on our own versions of the same artwork. It's my hope that he will sell out long before ours are made available to avoid the stepping of the toes situation. :)

Here's what I still need help with: I need ONE hinge from the back of the cabinet to spec out. I also need ONE original dedicated MH wire harness. I am also considering Tempest and SD/BW/GRAV wire harnesses so we can set these cabs up as special cabs for people upgrading from conversions. Just an idea, though.

Anyhow, I believe that's all I need to finish off the parts of this cabinet. Anyone willing to help, please contact me ASAP - we're close to having this one done.
