Welcome to the group, Kurt.

You have a generic arcade cabinet manufactured from Dynamo. It has a technical name like a Hs-5 or something, but everyone here knows 'em as "corner-cut" cabs (in reference to the indented corners of the control panel).

There was at one point in time a vinyl overlay on that control panel that looks familiar to me, but I can't quite figure it out.

This is going to make my head hurt all night. I know I have seen this overlay in person somewhere. It's something weird too, like a Battle Shark or something like that.

Kurt,

Welcome to Thread. I m very happy that I had referred you here and brought a free cab for you but of course this were to in return of your favor! Thanks for everything my friend!

Given the button holes, it was probably several games throughout it's life. I would lean towards a Cabal at one point in time because of the layout and the era of the cab. However the old cpo is still stumping me.

thats not drilled out, thats factory prepunched. those panels were done up for the operator to push out the metal for the controls they wanted to use. that one was done up for 2 trackballs and 1 joystick. The only dual trackball game I can think of is rampart and baldes of steel.

the original overlay looks a little like 1943, but thats not quite right..

I don't think cabal as that kit was 2 small wico trackballs and I don't think that style of cab was made in 1988..
