This is a player's condition Data East "The Simpsons" in great working condition.

I've owned this game for about 4 years. All work and part replacement below took place shortly after purchase. Since fixing up the game, it has been in my game room line up and run very reliably.

I immediately installed NVRAM and the game currently shows about 460 plays in the last 4 years.

Overall, the game is very clean. I did a light refurbish on the cabinet as the original art was mostly gone. The cabinet was painted and new decals were installed. This took place about 4 years ago, so there are light signs of use and movement in the decals and in the painted black inside edges of the cabinet.

Beyond typical cleaning, rubber, and ball replacements, the game has the following new parts or enhancements:

-Several new coils throughout, visible in pictures as being "Stern" branded
-New Rottendog Playfield power board
-New Wolffpac Tech LED alphanumeric display
-Connectors repinned and headers replaced on the power supply where needed
-NVRAM installed on the CPU - no batteries needed!
-LED flashers installed in the playfield and backbox
-New leg levelers
-Flipper rebuild kit (see note below about mounting plates)
-New playfield glass: would have been installed shortly after purchase, so it may have extremely minor scratches, definitely nothing super noticeable
-Metal leg protectors (installed long after decals, so the decals do show some wrinkling that I was unable to completely smooth out)
-3D printed cooling towers with red LEDs
-Original manual

There are a few notable "dings" that I want to point out ahead of time:

-Backglass has a couple scratches, as pictured.
-Overall playfield condition is "average" for a Simpsons. Paint loss can be found on this game in expected areas.
-GI and inserts are still incandescent bulbs because I couldn't find a bulb that didn't ghost in this game. Incads look great in this era of game, though.
-Flipper plate mounts are reinforced with JB Weld (pictured). This will hold up fine in home, but if the game was going on route I would recommend replacing these.

As with all games, light adjustments and tweaking will be needed after moving. This game is being sold absolutely as-is beyond any catastrophic misses on my part

Mostly looking for cash on the glass. Not looking for 99% of trades, but if you want to try to wow me with a really cool project, you're welcome to try. I would definitely entertain most WPC or some System 11 project trades.

I'm more than happy to help load the game into your truck or SUV. The game is located in my walk-out basement with immediate driveway access in University City, MO. No shipping.
