So I was trying to change a coil on my star wars pin and I accidently put the diode back in the wrong direction. I kept blowing the F5 fuse and the launch button and flippers didn't work. I tested the PPB board and found a bad TIP36 transistor. I replaced it, put in a new coil and diode and replaced the blown F5 fuse with a new one. I fired up the game and now it turns on and plays, but I don't have any sound or DMD display. The DMD works when the game first comes on and doesn't work any longer after that. The game also feeds two balls at a time to be shot into play. I don't really no where to begin looking for a solution. Can anyone suggest some thing I can start checking? Thanks.

Update ---

I unhooked all the connectors and hooked them up again and now the sound and DMD work, but I still have a problem with 2 balls being fed to the launcher at the same time. Not really sure why this is happening. The limit switch is getting a signal that it needs to feed another ball even though one is already set and ready to be shot into play. So I end up having to launch two balls into play. If I loose one, another ball gets fed ready to be shot into play.

The outhole switches must have a problem.
I agree - go into diagnostics mode and check the playfield status. I did something similar once, bought a new coil and didnt pay attention that it didnt have a diode on it, just installed in a hurry. Blew out 3 diodes on the switch matrix. Took half a day to find em. Check for switches stuck on, and for switches that when pressed, you see multiple switches shown. Check related diodes in the switch matrix around those.
