Helping my buddy shop out his Batman, arm to the shooter lane switch broke off and of course got lost, looked in the manual on page 25 and found part no. 500-5303-00 switch 14, off I go to order another switch except for one small problem, none of the suppliers can pull up the switch by this number, seems like the book only lists it as a complete assembly and nothing on the switch itself, and of course no illustration.

I looked at The Simpsons he had next to it and ordered that switch configuration except
Batman has the turbo kicker assembly, ball rolls over the new switch and then jams up when the turbo kick fires it, so it seems that the correct arm would allow the ball to roll over it and then back over again when the turbo kicker fires the ball up the shooter lane, pulling my hair out with this one so any help would be appreciated.

Bend or adjust the arm to what you need.

Or give Stern tech support a call 1-800-kickers and see if the switch from a newer Stern pin with auto fire would work.

I wouldn't get just a new arm, I'd get the whole switch because the part where the arm snaps on is most likely worn.

If you get a new switch be sure you get the wires in the same spots and silver band end of diode facing the right direction.

LTG :)

I ordered the correct switch today, hats off to Steve at Pinball Resource. Steve actually picked up the phone, educated me on the problem which is basically Data East listed the switch in the manual as an complete assembly which includes the diode, factory manual does not show the switch or the switch part number. Out of the 5 pinball suppliers that I called, only Steve at Pinball Resource took the time out of his busy schedule to solve the problem, one more thing that floored me...Pinball Resource is shipped the part out and said just send him a check when I receive it...Wow in today's world this guy who I have never done business with would actually send to me on an honor system, Bravo! that's all I can say.

Yea, Steves old school, doesnt do credit cards or paypal, he keeps your 1st order low dollar to establish your account, then all your future orders are payment due upon reciept. A lot of people dont like Steve, but he pretty much knows his shit. I havent stumped him with a question yet
