After moving the machine 10 miles in the back of my truck, the DMD (Dot Matrix Display) no longer works (not a hint of light at all). Logical thinking made me check every connector to insure they were mating properly. . . .that wasn't the problem. I read all the proper voltages at the connector with the exception of the +68vdc (it reads +4.8vdc). Has anyone out there had similar problems?. I am willing to spend the money on either a new power supply, or DMD board, but wanted to run this by the experts before commiting to get your input.

I'd check the connector pins on the boards for cold solder joints. Maybe one was getting flaky and the move made it give up the ghost. The fact that you are seeing some voltage makes me wonder if this might be the case.

If you are not getting the +68v then the display will not work at all. Check the power board connector CN5 pin 4. On my game R15 broke off which killed the 68v line. If you can't find anything you may need to repair the HV part of the power board.

hey, thanks for the link. I have a "dead" Jurassic Park and I guess the pinball forum doesn't get much in the way of repair posts, I'll try some of these out later.
