Dance Dance Revolution Extreme - Chicago

Hi guys. New member here, thought I'd put up my DDR 8th mix if anyone is interested. It has the usual rubs and whatnot. The pads are acting up a little, so they could use the usual service/maintenance. All the lights/speakers work great. Just kinda outgrew it.

I also have a Para Para Paradise in 100% working condition.

Asking 2100 for DDR, 1400 for PPP.

Possible trade/partial trade for Family Guy or South Park pin.

Possible nationwide delivery (I work for NAVL aka North American's competitor as a driver).

Pics on request, otherwise will be posted later in the week.

* Item(s) located in the Chicagoland area- south suburbs*

Thanks.

Hold up bud. Extreme and X are two completely different versions running on completely different hardware and there's a four-digit difference in value. Which are you selling?

Out of curiosity, what do you mean when you say the pads are acting up a little? Do you think a thorough cleaning would be the only necessary fix, or would parts such as sensors need to be purchased? I own a few arcade machines now, so I know some work would be required regardless, I'm just trying to gauge how much and whether it would be worth it for me or not.

Sorry for not checking the thread sooner. The machine sold this past weekend, but I still have Para Para Paradise for sale and would gladly post a few pics if there is any interest.

Thanks.

I am always interested in dancing games. What kind of floor-space do you need for it (headroom too)? I am thinking...A LOT!

A LOT is right -- DDR and PiU are, by floorspace, easily on the short-list for largest machines ever made. The platform by itself is in the realm of 45" by 70" (exact dimensions depend on the specific style of cabinet) and most of the cabinet styles are about the size of two standard uprights sitting next to each other.

Headroom isn't too bad. On virtually every machine I've seen you can take the marquee off and fit it underneath a 6-foot ceiling. If you're around 6 feet yourself you can play comfortably with only 7 feet of clearance.

Very true on their ability to be disassembled for doorways, etc. I couldn't get either machine to clear the ceiling panels in my basement. I bet you need almsot 8' to get a PPP or DDR setup.

I'd grab dims on the Para, but I'm in San Francisco right now on business.
