Well.. just broke down and bought Mikes Arcades $5.00 orange Nintendo buttons... but because shipping was coming out to $7.50 for $10.00 worth of two buttons (and I hate that crap) I felt compelled to purchase the Pull to Duck upgrade for the Punch Out stick... the problem is that I don't have a Super Punch Out to play the game with... yet. Argh this hobby!!!

At least I'll be prepared when either I find a Super Punchout PCB or the Multi-Punch Out comes out. Right?

(I'm trying to convince myself...)

I'm holding out hope that I can find a decent blue button to replace the broken P2 button on my DK. Hate to break down and buy a poorly color matched repro, so since the button is more or less functional I'm living with it for now.

I actually have a spare Blue button (assuming you need the button itself and not the whole assembly). I'd trade it for a spare pal nut that'll fit one of these buttons.

I can send you a PAL nut if you don't do a trade. Just PM me your mailing address.

I've been trying for a longtime as well to find clean 2 original dark blue and orange buttons and have had no luck and been considering to buy them from Mikes site as well

Here's the buttons.

The colors aren't perfect but I like the brand new button look.

...ah, the magic of orange.

The repros are the wrong color by far, and they aren't even the right shape. Had I known that ahead of time I would never have bought them. To top it off they still didn't fit correctly, I still had to sand them down further. Mike's are just standard buttons with extra machined off the edges. Very disappointed.

They fit my Punch Out without issue whereas standard ones wouldn't. I don't have an original next to the cab to compare them to, but they're orange enough for me... and being there are no other options, I'm happy.

But yea, they're standard buttons that have been shaved down via a lathe I'm guessing.

The DK buttons are on my "to get" list. I am still using a black a blue and a green from a spare vs. control panel, and don't even own an original dk button.

I just realized from that picture that the vs and dk blue buttons look exactly the same. (may be a good source for some since vs stuff is pretty worthless compared to dk stuff)
