Sigh, I havent figured out the problem with the 7000 I capped yet. I gave up for now and pulled a 7000 out of another game to use (Im putting a 25" in the other game). I put it in, and the kids played it all day yesterday. Today, it has nothing but garbage on the monitor (actually, its the game picture overlapped about a dozen times). Guess Ill check all the connections tomorrow.
My Question is about the 10 prong plug. I know the red/green/blue go on the 1st three, but Ive looked at the 7000s in 4 of my games, and the sync and ground wires are in 3 different positions (pins 8 & 10 on 2 of them, 5 & 7 one one, and one has the sync on 10 and the ground on 4, jumped to 7) Is there any ryme or reason to how these are hooked up.
The donor game above was grounded to 4, jumped to 7, sync on 10, the one it went into has ground and sync at 8 & 10. Do I need to move the wires, how do I tell where it should be?
