For some reason the reset button wont work on my Playchoice. This is a conversion kit Playchoice. The button itself works just fine so I know that isn't the problem. I'm not sure if this was working when I bought the machine since I never really thought to check it, so for all I know the wrong wires might be hooked up to it. But I've tried hooking all the loose wires to it and it still does nothing. I have a pic of the wires that were connected to the button. Are these the correct ones that it should be connected to?

Just push Channel Select and Enter at the same time. If the machine is in freeplay, reset will do nothing.

I do have it set to freeplay, but I thought I checked this before I switched it over to freeplay. I'll have to try the Channel/Enter thing and see if that works. Thanks.

Thanks for the Channel/Enter button trick. Didn't know about that. Been wracking my brain trying to figure out why the hell the Reset button wasn't working. lol. Didn't know you couldn't use the reset button while on freeplay. Ugh. Thanks again. :D

I wonder what happens if you move the pink wire to the NO tab on the microswitch? Probably nothing, but you never know til you try.

Nothing. The reason I was asking if those wires were the right ones, is because there are four other wires that aren't connected to anything. One seems to act like another Enter button when connected, but the others do nothing. I spent all day tried to figure out why the hell the reset button wasn't working. Cant believe it doesn't work with freeplay. :banghead:

I have my PC10 set to freeplay and my reset works perfectly. but it is god to know I have other options if it stops working.

I'm fairly certain it should be on the NC tab. Its been a long time since I looked but at one time I was messing with a single monitor conversion. I had the full harness but no CP. I was looking at the schematics to determine what wire did what. The schematic pointed out one switch used NC. Im pretty sure it was Reset.

Edit...should have zoomed in the pic on my phone...low and behold...diagram on the sticker!!

Yeah, I know where it's supposed to be in timer mode, that's why I told him to try switching it in freeplay and see if it would reset.
