Bought this from a KLOV member and it just arrived today. I have no idea where he had this machine but this thing is in damn near mint condition, which I have never seen on these cabinets. No fading anywhere, no scratches or wood broken off.

All I did was clean the interior and exterior, cleaned the glass, put in a new marquee light, changed the game board to the newest version (2.3), put in a 25" newly capped WG monitor which has the clearest picture I have ever seen since I have started this hobby and new buttons and joysticks.

Might change the second player joystick to yellow.

Like I said almost mint. Here is a spot where the side art came off.

Always got my ass kicked at this game but grew up playing it so I decided to get one.
Well my collection is now done......for now lol

looks nice, too bad the marquee got burt. Hopefully you can find a replacement. Mine is not as nice, but then again it came from atari's gameroom. I would not mind finding a CP over for it.

As for if its worth $300? I would say so. If you don't like it, you have a jamma cab you can drill out to street fighter config. Unlike the atari drawer cabs, you cant rotate the monitor.

Now that I think about it, the cab is probably not 100% jamma. Pretty sure the audio is present at the board jamma harness, but the dedicated cab gets audio directly from the sound board. It would be a pretty simple mod to get the audio wires into the jamma harness and make it 100% jamma.

Your 100% correct. Most people make the boards 100% JAMMA by soldering wires from the sound board to the main board. I did that before I got this dedicated cab. It's an easy mod.

I think most people just use the Audio/JAMMA jumper (JAUD) on the main board to connect to the audio out (JSPKR) on the sound board. No soldering needed.

+1

soldering to headers is just badtown

Not that bad. My job was pretty damn good. Just ran my wires, dabbed small amount solder to the pin outs then heat shrink them. Looked clean. I know it's a hassle to undo but for someone who wasn't planning on finding a 99% conditioned dedicated PR, I didn't care much. Plus those boards are cheap as hell. Just bought my third V2.3 board for $9.00.

I do agree it's bad if you have no skills in soldering, you could really mess up the board.

it's just messy and unprofessional, and a lot of people don't know how to solder properly. I agree they are cheap. $9.00 shipped isn't a bad price either

Glad this arrived in one piece. Great to see it back to it's original glory.

It seems all the locals down here were only interested in low balling me on this cab. You would not believe some of the bottom feeder offers I got. I am glad it went to a good home and for a fair price even with shipping to Pa.

Can you do the golden shower move yet? :001_shappy:

Hey thanks for the fair deal on it! Yup I did the golden shower finisher lol. Where did you get this machine? It's the best primal rage cab I have ever seen. Plus it had a shit ton of tokens inside.

My Primal Rage is almost complete. Got in the ultra rare topper thanks to a member on here. Now looking for a marquee. Any ideas?
