I just missed out on a non-working F14 Tomcat for $100!!!!

I called the lady at 9:30, and she said a dude was already standing there with money in hand.

She also had a fully working "The Games" pin for $500 negotiable. It's some crappy Gottlieb Premier game. She stressed the negotiable term to me right off the bat, so it could probably go cheap too.

Dammit... $100. I would have seen it (and had it) last night if it weren't for Christmas pictures at the portrait studio...

There was a $200 Black Knight around my area that vaporized within a couple hours after it was posted.

Any time these get posted cheap there gone before you even have chance. I have never gotten lucky with the cheap games that get posted.

The CL timestamp was 3:07 pm yesterday. I usually check CL at the beginning and end of my work day. Yesterday I was busy in the afternoon and left home immediately for Christmas pics with the family all evening. We didn't get home until after 10, and I was too tired to get on the PC. I will say that my 6th sense was alarming that something important awaited me on the internet, but I figured it was an email...

It was just the perfect storm for me to miss this, when any other day I would have seen it and been right on it.

I have my homepage set to http://www.wildjohn.com, with the keywords pinball.

Anytime someone posts a pinball on craigslist in San Diego, it shows up as soon as I open a browser window. Since I work from home on websites, I see new windows every 2 minutes.

Really great craigslist browser site.

Bought a complete non-working World Cup Soccer for $250 a few months ago. Had to race there to get it. Need to get that going one of these days.

Ya early bird gets the worm sometimes...

someone once posted on cl in a location about 2 hours from me "Pinball - $500" and it ended up being a newer Stern and they were just loaded and didnt care!

I called, they said they had one person that was interested. I told them I would give them $200 more and be there in an hour

Never driven so fast before, haha.

You can't tell a story like that and NOT give more details!!!
