Dallas SuperAuction starring Uncle Mike and trained bear!!

http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/vgm/1501735610.html

huge arcade auction december 12th stating at 10 am all the games you remember as a kid come join the fun. bring cash or credit card and we have mike the ballon animal maker and trained bear, come join the fun ask for uncle mike . rodeo center mesquite,tx

I just hope they have some games because I certainly don't want an animal balloon...

When I first started going to their auctions they had a lot of good pins and classic arcade games. The last few I went to were pretty lame....unless you like newer redemption games and big buck hunters.

They called to let me know about the auction and to see if I was bringing anything. He said it would be a big one. We shall see. I should be there for a little bit. Not sure how long though.

I'm toying with going. Don't have any money to spend, unless somebody wants to buy one or more of the games I have on CL (Stargate, Battlezone, Moon Patrol & Make Trax). All work 100% (they all survived the Houston Expo in November). I can probably haul a couple up if there is interest.

Um, whats a ballon?

He's the guy that is employed by super auctions that can't spell, says its "working all the way", starts the bidding for a non working eswat or blood bros jamma cab at "who'll give me a thousand dollars to go" just to waste everyones time, and occasionally their "plant" will bid up the price too high, until no one will match his ridiculous bid,.....going once, going twice?.... then say "seller's reserve wasn't met." This tactic continues, unfortunately because of the occassional sucker. After all this bs they want an absurd 15% buyers premium.

once in a while those bears go nuts and take a bunch of people out..

it might be worth going just for that...

Wonder if this is just a local thing or if they'll be doing gimmicks like this at all of the superauctions now...
Man I wanna see a trained bear at the Belleville one... even better if it goes nuts! :D

I was wondering how the auction turned out as far as the number and tpe of games. This is the 1st one that I wasn't able to attend in the 4 years, so more than likely as my luck goes the deals were good and an increase in the number of classic games showed up.
