Dallas CL: who got the disc of tron

next time you see something too good to be true, offer 2x-4x the asking price. If that does not get a response, then it was fake. Better to get a game at a fair price than to miss out on a killer deal.

Fair price to who?

I've used the "extra cash" method before with success. The discs was priced at 300 non working. No pics. I didnt want to entertain the idea of more money. But I can live with the consequence. :)

Fair price to who?

discs of tron UR = $800-$1,200
EDOT = $1500-2500+

If the price is $250 on CL, Offer $500+ for the UR or $1k+ for the EDOT if your serious. No one says you have to pay that much for it, but if you don't get a reply, you know why..

exactly. I would have said, I would give you up to $750 for it if I could see it/check it out first. If it was in excellent shape and complete, I would gladly pay $750 for a non working DOT. If not great, then you got in the door and saw it and then can make an educated offer.

I had emailed on it many times over different days with no response
I think it was a scam?
Its hard to know for sure since I already get so much spam...

Nice grab...too bad you didn't buy it to own, only to make a buck. I'd rather a person who wants the game get it, but first come, first served.

I assumed it was Texasmame that got it since there were no 'WHO GOT THE...' posts or 'NOT MINE BUT [link]...' posts

Yea... He's quick to post up a link when games appear on Craigslist. Also, he was suspiciously quiet after the game was sold. :)

Well, not typically when they are still up. I do like to ask "Who got the. . ." after the fact (like on that recent B.S. Williams proto cabinet) but didn't need to this time. ;)
