First off:

The EDOT, the Kosmik Krooz, the Red DK and the DK3 and the 2 Omega Races are gone. Everything else is still left as far as I know. If you want to raid these warehouses yourselves, you must do it before the end of the year as it will be impossible after that date.

Nothing is "cheap" You will have a tough time getting a $100 game from this guy. Bring a trailer, cash and some muscle to move games as they are packed in there and will be tough to get out of the way. Mover's dollies and 2 wheelers are a must as well as straps.

The pole position cockpit has been gutted at one point and there is another that is good for parts I think. Couldn't see inside it.

PM me for his contact info. He will be out of town for the next few days due to a death in the family so you may not get hold of him. His voice mail is always full so you have to keep trying. If you do get him on the phone, be prepared for a long conversation.

Photos are here. First set are mine Second set is courtesy of Rusty Nunnelee.

More info from my notes:

Anyone looking for a Hang-on sit down motorcycle? I'm setting up a warehouse raid and found a guy with I think 2 of these. They are in unknown condition.

Right now, most of the stuff is redemption like skee-ball and ticket spitting machines. There are 2 of those Virtuality Cyberbase SU 2000 pods with monitor and some smaller monitors. I don't know if it is all there. Most of this stuff is under a lot of dust. Like 20 years worth.

There is a Thundeblade sit down helicopter. (Actually 2 I think)

A lot of Sega Daytona sit downs (4-5) missing steering wheels as far as I can see.

A Sprint 2 complete I think covered with lots of dust.

3 arm wrestling machines covered with a ton of dust. One of the units the guy has what appears to be a Mexican wrestler's mask.

Robocop in a Data East cabinet

Konami Super Basketball in a sega converta cab

Another unknown data east game

Sega Enduro racer X 2 sit downs

Sega Ski Champ

1943

Midway Terminator

3 Shoot Aways (scarce gun game)

Capcom vs Street fighter in a dynamo cab

Gorf

Sega Virtua Fighter

Neo Geo single slot conversion

Lots more sit down drivers and motorcycle type games. Large marquees for just about every driving game where there are 2 units hooked together. Lots and Lots of dust and jammed together stuff in a very random fashion.

No pins. Bleh. The only things I'd be interested in is DK3, Gorf, and Galaga. Have no faith that a galaga in those conditions is in any kind of working condtion, wouldn't want to spend much money on Gorf, and I've had just horrible luck with Nintendo machines so far, so no way I'm buying one in questionable condition.

Damn. :(

Is this JC? No kidding about being prepared for a long conversation. Also, he won't name a price, wants "working prices" for games that have sat for years and aren't always as nice as he thinks, has a tendency to not show up or will an hour late, and if he gets your cell # will call you a lot to try to make more "deals".

For a guy who needs it all gone soon, he doesn't act like it. It's better to get a reasonable price than to lose it all.

Can you tell this guy jerked me and fellow klover around after we drove up there to pick up a specific item which wasn't ready, made us follow him around for 6 hours (after showing up 90 minutes late) to multiple places to "show us more stuff" even though we told him we needed to get back?

This is the guy that brought all the horribly water damaged cabs (with lots of missing parts!) to the auction... paid someone to clean 'em as best as he could with Windex and paper towels, then bought almost all of them back because they didn't bring top dollar.

Good luck.

More pics of the red DK? I'd like to see where it fits with the rest of em. TKG2 or TKG3? Etc. Etc.

With all the talk of the guy wanting top-dollar prices I'm really curious how much you got those games for. Don't need an exact dollar figure....but was it within what most of would consider a good range? Or was it a "steal"? Or what?

Someone get those KITS. Conversion kit boxes all over the place!!! I am salivating at all the great parts. If someone gets those in a deal, let me know - I may be interested.

Yes, it is JC. Yes, he is tough to deal with. Yes, I paid more than I wanted to but still feel I got a good deal or else I wouldn't have purchased the items. Not a steal, but I have a bit of room to make a little money. I did end up with some parts I wanted from a previous deal so it rounds out okay. I will probably break even on one of the games. The back glass is missing from the
EDOT. We spent 3 hours today looking for it in another location but it wasn't there. It may still show up. These items are in risk of being gone at the first of the year so if you want them you had better call him and wheel and deal as best you can. Those kit boxes are for the most part empty or missing lots of stuff. Sorry. We checked.

The Red DK is in the hands of another KLOVr and I am sure he will be posting the photos soon. I wanted it but deferred to him as he expressed an interest in it. I am more into the Atari Vectors anyway. (of which there were absolutely zero)

No, it isn't concrete dust. It is marble dust from the place next door and dust dust from sitting in the warehouse for 20 years. Yes, 20 years. We saw the newspapers this stuff was wrapped in.

I tired to buy the Gauntlet but my price was too low. It is also pretty deep in the warehouse and would have required the 4 of us to move games for 30 minutes to get to it. You will probably have to pay close to retail to get it.

This guy has Daytona out the wazoo. I spent 3 hours today going thru 9 mini storage units looking for parts. I have photos which I will post tomorrow. They aren't the greatest but you will get an idea. It is mostly bigger arcade items with a few redemption pieces.

I will give you his number and you can contact him and make an offer after you get specifics.Plan on getting this stuff before the 1st of Jan. or have somebody get it for you.

The Galagas were not for sale at the price I offered him even though 2 of them had had their harnesses butchered and one was water damages. One Gorf has a hole in the cabinet. I bet you could get them for $200 each or maybe less. I honestly don't know. Remember Cash talks, BS walks. If you lowball him, forget about it. You will get a dissertation on how he can get X more for it.

No shit. My buddy picked up a dirty Gravitar board with a couple broken roms and we got the "Pat will give me $150 for that" speech....

i've been to places like that which are in total disarray and the person thinks it is all gold.
leaves me with that sick train wreck feeling like watching a bad episode of hoarders.
in some ways i wish i'd not seen things like this first hand.

kinda sad actually.

Its a TKG3. Over all shape isn't bad. I'll try to get pictures later today. wife just got ou of surgery monday so I'm taking care of her.

i do know it has a blown flyback, and will not coin up currently. I'm not very famila with ninty. its a 4 board stack.

That's all I've got right now. i was more interested in the omega races. so ill be getting to working first.

For the record: No I wouldn't. Maybe $30

Still worth trying to swing a deal if there is anything there you like.

I posted the link to yesterdays photos in the first post but it is here as well for those that can't seem to locate anything. Also, please be sure to read the first post for what is NOT available. I am getting requests for games that are gone and loaded on the trucks.

You can reach John after 8:00 Thursday night (22nd) Central time. He says he is up till 4 a.m. but personally I wouldn't call that late. Again, his voicemail is full so if you get it, hang up and try again later. This stuff will more than likely be gone at the first of the year.
