I have this D9204 that I recapped and reflowed a lot of solder joints on that has two current issues I'd like to fix.
1. Occasionally while on, the image will shrink for a brief moment (0.1 second?) and a snap can be heard. It immediately corrects and continues on. I've had the monitor for a number of years before I decided to work on it, and it had not done it once before then. The anode and tube were very dirty, and I cleaned both up well, but it still persists.
2. The monitor doesn't seem to want to save or recall my settings. The image is also quite green/too bright, which can be fixed with settings, but it always reverts on power on. I have socketed and replaced the EEPROM already, so it is not the chip. I believe this is my fault, since it only happened after I went and reflowed more things. Any idea on where to look for possible solder bridges?
