Found a cybernaut pinball for sale. Guy says that G.I. lights come on but did not plug in head so consider it not working. Says there is not battery corrosion . It's missing all four score displays and the soundboard. Says playfields in good shape, has glass, back glass and legs $450. How common are the soundboards and displays to buy? Are these a pain to get working based on limited run numbers

Do you like the game? It's probably an $800 game in good condition and not super in demand compared to the other Bally games of the era so it could be tough to move later. By the time you replace the displays and board you'll be a few hundred more in. I'd pass and live to fight another day unless you love the game.

No, they use the same boards from the Bally's in that era.

There is around ~500 made, and there seems to be a niche market for them. Certain completionists have a hard time finding the game, so they're willing to pay a premium. If you want to unload it quickly, you won't get much for it, but if you don't mind holding onto it, depending on condition, you may be able to sell it for a bit more.

There is a unique thing about the game, in which a few of them have the Bally 6802 MPUs in them, which is essentially a prototype mpu. That may drive up the price for you a bit more than normal.

Overall, it's an ok game, nothing that stands out about it.
