What is a fair price for this? One monitor was capped and looks great the other is fine but will need to be capped at some point. One joystick was replaced and is not the original Atari. Also, can anyone tell me which control panel is correct? Thanks for any input. Links to pictures are below.

Being that I am a potential buyer for this game I am interested in what folks have to say. I'll leave my experiences with prices over the past year and a half out and see if they line up or not.

I'll upload the pics for posterity though. :D

I would say around the 4-700 range because of the size.
We bought one maybe 2 years ago or a little less and paid $400. Our monitors in the same condition one is great other could use a cap kit. Our control panels where in worse condition having had holes drilled in them and needed new cpo's with work to get them straight and filled. We where also missing 2 of the original Atari joysticks, 2 where just standard style but I was able to find a set here on KLOV for around $60 bucks I think in that range.
I've seen a few posted on CL and other places around the $900 range and they sit for a long time so who knows what they sold for but I would think in my range since that's what ours was listed for also around $800 and cut that in half after a while sitting also. This one looks to be in good shape so higher on my range.

The cpo on the left is for the Tournament version if that is what it is also. It is a fun game but because of its size the market gets a little limited.

I own this game and have restored ours to really nice condition except the upper side art is not there on ours. I tried a repro of the bottom side art and it looks ok.

I would not mind it to be redone and someone do a good scan of the upper and lower side art.

In the late 90's you could hardly find these for sale. People were snatching them up like crazy, and now, its almost like it never existed.

This game was huge in 1989-1995 or so. Tournaments and everything.

You will enjoy this game. I would snatch it up if I were you! Good luck.

Looks like a beautiful machine. I would be in the 1K range if it is as nice as it looks in the pictures. I would love to find one local.

That 400-700 seems cheap to me, but GA can be different than Chicago. I'd grab one if I found it for $500 (anyone??....)

But yeah I could see high triple digits and $1000 would sell eventually or you'd need someone who really loved it.

Let me know if you're taking it out for a sunday drive (to chicago) anytime soon! :D

This one in Raleigh NC has been listed for $900 since around May, in June i asked if it was still available and was going to throw out an offer of about half and forgot to but it was still available then.

I'm always looking for nicer cabs than the one's I own to swap out with.

Last 3 I sold were north of $1k(and 2 went to a reseller), And I have not sold one in the last 3 years. So 4-6 years ago. Today, I would think $1k easy.

Interesting price range. With all the feedback coming in I'll throw that I've seen $800-400 over the past 1.5 yrs. The 400 needed about the same work as this one with one crappy monitor and CP overlays in worse shape. The $800s, one sold fast and the other languished at 1k+ and even at 800 for a while before it moved. The higher prices followed more metropolitan areas as well. Which makes sense as you have a greater audience with no shipping involved.
