Believe it or not, but in all my years I've never had to do this. I also never see it brought up, so I thought I'd play the dumb ass and create the thread for everyone too afraid to ask.

I have a NOS replacement Hyper Fighting marquee that I need to fit a Z-Back (hard plastic). I have to trim some of it down. I'm thinking measure twice and then table saw it. Any tips or tricks before diving in that I should know about (never know of any surprises until I ask...or do it myself and find out the hard way)?

Before anyone freaks, this is a normal sized marquee. It's not a Big Blue gigantic marquee like they did for CE (I've never seen a HF done that size anyways). I just need to trim it down a tad to fit the Z-Back marquee.

I make a nice line with a razor knife, then sandwich the part I am keeping between two pieces of wood and snap the other part off. Never failed me.

I have a plexi cutting/scoring knife for this reason, I can't remember using it on a marquee though, maybe a plastic bezel. Anyway, use a blade or scoring tool, and run that thing down the line 10 or 15 times, get it kind of deep.
Then brace it and whack it.

When I needed a marquee cut I brought it to Ace Hardware and they cut with their plexi cutting setup!! Worked great! And, it was free. :)

BTW - mine was a hyper fighting marquee going in a z-back too. The one I picked up was too big.
