I know that Mattroid and a couple of other guys have compiled original scans/custom mini marquees on Arcade Crusade which is great. I think there are a few other independent sites that have scans as well.

However, it was a little hard finding one for Neo Bomberman and I was disappointed when I finally found it:

Ugly. I'm guessing the game was only released in Japan as I couldn't find the marquee or flyer art in English. Also, I don't remember ever playing this version and if I did, it was probably a bootleg of some sort. Though, I own what appears to be an original cart. I didn't open it up to look at serial numbers or anything but the label looks legit. Not sure.

I took the arcade flyer and did a quick custom mini marquee myself. Just adjusted the layout and removed some elements that I wouldn't be able to read anyways. Here's how it turned out:

It's not perfect and I could probably get it to look even better and possibly translate it to English, but honestly, it was good enough for me.

Printed it out on HP Inkjet on high quality paper (good enough quality where it won't wrinkle from heat and moisture but not too good that it wouldn't be transparent enough).

Next on my list is The Super Spy. Good Lord they really slacked off on that art too. Any of you ever do custom mini marquees for individual games?

I made a Metal Slug 3 mini that lists all the Metal Slug games and their coresponding list no. in the 120-in-1 cart. I hate searching the 120 games list looking for whichever MS I want to play. So I edited out the instructional text in each box and inserted a MS game and it's no. in their place. So it looks like a regular MS3 mini, until you really look at it closely.

That's cool. I'd love to see that. Pics or it didn't happen. :D

I had to take a pic of it on the cab, I must have deleted the file from my computer :(

Oh no! But I guess half the fun is creating it so maybe if you ever make it again, you can make some adjustments. Looks great though.

I made a custom version of The Super Spy. The arcade flyer is actually just as ugly so I took the art from the cover of the NGCD version.

Photoshop is fun. Which game should I do next? :)

What the hell were they thinking with that original Super Spy??? Yours looks way better. I wish I had Photoshop, frickin' MS Paint is all I have available.

Thanks! Any suggestions of others I should do?

I'm thinking Bust-A-Move (Puzzle Bobble) since that one is pretty ugly and incorrectly sized (game logo gets cut off).

Bust-A-Move. I took some instruction elements from Bust-A-Move Again as they look and read better. Used the existing logo and art. Added Taito logo.

Bringing an old thread back to life.

I was thinking, if someone really needs instructions on how to play the game, it's better to watch the attract mode or pre-game instructions that almost every MVS game has already. Putting instructions in an already tiny marquee is a poor way to showcase the game so I tried to come up with some new designs that just have the game title and art.

Feedback is welcome!

Great job are they printed on plastic? hows about sharing those files so we can all enjoy them.

People usually print on regular paper or photo paper.

Yes, I will share the files once I finalize them. I still have some touching up to do. As you can see Windjammers is pretty grainy because that's the best quality art I could find and it's a scan of the AES box art.

This thread is so old that I can't update the original post. I lost or misplaced the files for the original ones I did, but I plan on redoing them anyways without the instructions as I did with Bust-A-Move.
