I know, most people here will be like "what the hell is Guilty Gear Slash"... pay no attention to the fact that it's an insanely awesome fighter, but look at the artwork on this bad boy:

I guess I could comment on how badass the artwork is, if I had some idea what it looks like normally. Is there some sort of dedicated cab/ art for the game?

I'm not a huge fan of the game... but I've got a serious "voice crush" on Jam (assuming they used the same Japanese voice actress for Slash?)... she's adorable.

Cabinet looks good though, nicely done.

wow steve.. just wow!!!

i cant believe thats the same cab man.. now leave it alone lol..

that thing has a high res monitor too, you guys should see the picture its frickin uber sharp

This game never came to the states, so it's all done by myself. There is no dedicated cab for this.

How did you print that side art? Amazing. Never really played the Guilty Gear series, but great job!

Arcadeoverlays.com . They do an amazing job. Just be sure to use really high res images and a very high pixel per inch ratio.

omg I love guilty gear, didnt think any of you older gamers (no idea your age) had any idea about it haha. Slayer ftw

I only know about it because the bossman at the arcade is into fighting games... BlazBlue, GuiltyGear, Atsuhaki Blitzsomethingerather... God knows what else is going to show up.

haha I play blazblue a lot, as well as guilty gear but no idea what the third game your talking about is haha.

I also saw someones sig said Hokuto No Ken which is a very pop fighter in japan, this forum has surprises every dayy

2-d fighters are my favorite, it was what I grew up on, something I do everyday

I don't know the full name of the game... never really paid attention. They abbreviate it "ABK"

Here's a video of it.

hm never even seen that before, looks like snk maybe?? any idea who makes it?

I'll take a look at it next time I'm at the arcade, I'm supposed to be there RIGHT NOW, but due to transportation issues, I'm going to have to push it back till tomorrow it seems. I'll get all the information on it if you're interested.

i dont remember.. snk iirc...

steve can tell ya.. guys steve is really really good with this stuff.. hmm.. mabye i should hire someone to make me custom race drivin side art????? :D

I'm the biggest 2D fighter fan I know. I owned a Neo Geo and paid $300 per cart back in the last years of its life... I've owned dedicated cabs of Street Fighter 3 Third Strike, Vampire Savior, KOF98, Tekken 2, 4 and 5, Marvel vs Capcom 2, and currently own (among others) Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution, Mortal Kombat 2 and a home made six button Samurai Shodown 2 cab. Yeah, I like fighters. So, StreetzKing, it's not so strange to see me posting this cab. ;)

With all that said, I feel I know a ton about fighters, and I have ZERO idea what that damn game is you posted. Looks sort of shitty, to be frank. Oh, and Hokuto No Ken is okay, but has horrible animation and the tiers list in that game are absurd. To my understanding, there's like two guys that own the game.... cool game, but it's not as good as the other high res games that it's competing with (like the Guilty Gear XX series, wink).

Mike, if you ever want me to help you with something, let me know. You know how anal I am with arcade cabs.
