Very interesting, but obviously whomever did the art has never played DKjr. The are is representative of DK, with Junior thrown on the sleeve.

And who need a marquee when you can throw a stuffed monkey up there?

I'm sure I'll get a razing for this...

but I kind of like it.

Not saying it would be in my garage, but $700 seems like a good deal if that's your thing. $400 for the working game and only $300 for custom arts? Not a bad deal.

Of course a guy who would buy this might also be interested in a naked, winged Indian chick on a moon-lit background painted on the hood of his IROC-Z.

i think the fact it clearly illustrates dk but says junior on the sleeve sucks. but amazing art work none the less, nothing some touch up paint cant fix

That cab has been around before. Wonder if its the same guy trying to sell it again or the most recent owner. That type of customization is better reserved for MAME imho. Leave the classics alone.

While I respect the talent of the artist who painted it, that just doesn't belong on a classic cab. To use gozer's example, that's like a "naked, winged Indian chick on a moon-lit background" painted on the hood of a '57 Chevy.

What a waste of a decent Nintendo cab.

Absolutely!!! When I saw it,I thought...that's a hell of a lot of paint that's gonna have to be removed to restore it.He'd been better off painting that on a huge canvas....and that odd "han solo-esque" female in that car....wtf?! It screams....Hey law enforcement, please pull me over and completely search my car for contraband.
