$2500. For sale is a very unique system that takes an original Konami 6 Player X-Men arcade board and combines it with a pro level video mixer and a built in power supply to take one of the most complicated and large arcade cabinets and makes installing it in a modern cabinet with LCD screen a reality. All the tuning has been done to mirror, crop, size, and shift the two video signals to be combined into one output. The system takes in power via a standard power cable, and outputs a HDMI signal. When displayed on a 55" tv the image size will be very close to the arcade size (32" tv in pictures). The harness includes the connections for player 1, player 2, test, and coin signals. 4 extra harnesses for player 3-6 are also included.

I included pictures of an original 6 player X-Men cabinet as well as a theoretical cabinet with a 55" LCD TV replacing the CRT screens. It is less than 1/2 of the depth. Cabinet not included.

Holy shit. That's a wild set-up! Way out of my range, unfortunately, but I'm sure an operator here would spring for it to not have to deal with those dual-monitors.

Wow, nice.
Would mind sharing what type hardware you've been using ?
I can spot a couple of GBS 8200/8220 boards on the middle shelf, but can't really identify the equipment on the lower shelf. Doesn't look like Extron gear though.

I made a post about how to do this in the last month or so.. search my posts and you should be able to find it.

I'd also like to know what video mixer that is. I have everything else to make this possible except that.

I don't want to blow up a FS post as he can provide whatever details he wants, but that box is made by TVOne, and it's basically the only video processor/multi-viewer with analog RGBS inputs that can image-flip it's input windows, which you need for this application.

People mentioned Extron above. The MGP series boxes can be had for like $30-100 (see also: Folson ScreenPro, RGB Spectrum quadview & dualview), but they're useless for this since they can't flip the left monitor signal's H-axis.

I've looked into this and have the parts (including the same processor), but there are several ways to do this using different processors/scalers/video level-shifters. Ideally it's probably best to avoid the Gonbes converters (hacked firmware version might be ok), but you get the level-shifting for free with them, at least. I can do a post and/or video about this eventually, please don't PM me.

All this aside, if your cabinet is original don't screw it up by doing this to it. Fix your monitors. This is fine for a scratch-build or a home rig. GK just chopped theirs to save space.

I have 6P pcb and would love more info on how to do this as others have stated.

considering his last login was 4 days after this was posted, in April 2020 i am thinking he has moved on... hoping for a happy ending but it was in the beginning of COVID...
