A little background info.

So my friend of 25 years plus was talking about the time he was offered a Ms pacman cocktail arcade game for $600. So whenever the subject comes up. We his friends got to hear the story about the Ms Pacman cocktail game that got away from him.

So last year was a rough year and a half was a rough time for my friend.
His wife left him and 3 days later his son passed away at the ripe old age of 19.

Back to the story..

So I go looking for his holy grail arcade game for him. I find one for around 400 but it has issues. It has some color discoloration in the corner of the screen. I am thinking no problem I got a demagizing ring that will cure that issue.

Zap Zap not good the discoloration is still there. I posted for help and person suggested to repacing the speaker. 20 bucks later it's cured..

Now the table top has a scratch on the top of the glass. So off to get a new peice of glass 80 dollars later.

So my friend is all happy with his Ms pacman game. It sits in his bedroom..

But

Now he got a sore wrist and a sore shoulder.

Curse another friend with my arcade addiction. Laughs.

Yes, He did pay for it but I would have just given it to him for free.

My friends is a little odd. If I give him something for free, He feels it will obligates him.
He would try to compensate me not what I paid but the above fair market value is.
New case, No burn monitor, New joysticks, switching power suppy. The only thing Old in the MS pacman machine was the board.

It was best way to let him pay for the parts. Like I said we been friends for 25 plus years. It was the cheapest way to get this arcade into his hands.

That was nice of you. Now you need to buy him a sling. :)
