I hate when this group is going to be in town as their tickets flood a search for Arcade games on Craigslist. Anyone else notice this when they are coming to your area?

Are you talking about the arcade that burnt down and was restarted that is now called the phoenix arcade? (not to be confused with the art-repro site)

If not, I've lost you! :(

Just put -fire in your search when they're in town... ;)

(Although, this will block any finds for a game with Fire in the title...)

Just happy they are out of Atlanta finally...

"Arcade -xbox -wii -fire" is your friend....

On Seattle CL right now we've got Arcade Fire, and Penny-Arcade Expo.

Since I'm in between, I search Portland CL as well... so I see them all the time there as well.

Not that PAX is a bad thing... just not something I'm looking for when I search Arcade

But what if someone says:
---
I have the following for sale:

Nintendo Wii: $150

Xbox 360: $150

Arcade Fire tickets, front row, pair: $75

Table arcade game, called "Warlords", was working, but the cord got sliced, maybe you can use it for a cool coffee table?, just want to get rid of it: FREE

Haha. Or...

Original Working Arcade Games

Atari Fire Truck
Nintendo Heli Fire

Take both for $100. Will deliver at no extra cost! Just want them gone!

What about this scenario?

"I have an old arcade game that I want to trade. I don't play it anymore. It's called sundance. I got it out of a building that was a fire risk before it got torn down. I would like to trade it for a Nintendo Wii (Xbox PS3) with a few games. I prefer a straight across trade, I don't have any money to throw in. I've heard some people want this at some expo or something"

How about:

Working Berzerk Arcade game, $75. Needs a new fire button. Will trade for an Xbox.

In response to the original post--yes, Arcade Fire tickets on CL are annoying.

not only that, but the 'arcade' level seats where the giants play when they play the rockies flood craigslist here, too.

Have you guys typing the examples ever actually read a Craigslist ad? Yours appear to have been written by Ernest Hemmingway compared to what I've seen. Usually:
arcade for sale, its a centripod 2085 work when I stored it on in 1987 my uncle said it prabably needs a fuze.

Yep, but just search like this ARCADE -fire

that works for me,
